This new pathway from HSL School of Languages to “Foundations for University II” at Trent University will facilitate the admission of qualified international students from HSL School of Languages to an academic undergraduate program at Trent University.
Supporting international students preparing for admission to English-medium undergraduate studies, especially those requiring English training for academic studies, the pathway will allow direct admittance into the “Trent-ESL Foundations for University II” program upon successful completion of the English for academic purposes (EAP) program at HSL School of Languages.
Students will also have the option to be reassessed on arrival at Trent University for the potential to be promoted to undergraduate studies for a single term of academic skills which can be combined with up to two undergraduate courses.
In addition, HSL School of Languages students will be eligible for consideration for Trent University’s Renewable Automatic Entrance Scholarships ranging from $1,000 – $3,000 on the basis of their previous academic studies. Students will also be eligible to apply for Trent University’s Global Citizens Scholarship Program in accordance with the published deadlines and application procedures.
